Ant Series Wrattonbully Tempranillo
Wine
Bellwether Ant Series Wrattonbully Tempranillo is grown at Wrattonbully on the Limestone Coast, situated over the world heritage listed limestone caves.
The wine is made in small batches. Minimal intervention techniques prevail in the winery, with a focus on capturing a sense of the variety, site and season in the final wine.
The fruit is destemmed and left as whole berries for fermentation using only indigenous yeast. Maturation occurs in seasoned oak puncheons prior to bottling.
Deep crimson red, Bellwether Ant Series Wrattonbully Tempranillo is aromatic and earthy with bright fruit flavours. Cellaring potential is five years.
